It's Friday. I'm in Love. {With Vanities}

So the hubs and I finally found a place to live! It's a gorgeous old red brick, three-story home built in the early 1900s (think Meet Me in St. Louis, which was about the 1904 World's Fair). Our apartment (though it feels more like a home), will be the top two floors, and our good friend is moving into the first-floor apartment.

Needless to say, I'm going through a bit of a Victorian phase as I daydream about how to decorate it, and I'm so excited that we'll finally have a bedroom that has space for a vanity. I've always wanted my own little primping station that houses my makeup, jewelry, etc., and I'm leaning more toward something pictured in this first photo (on the right).

What do you think? Which is your favorite style?

  1. I like the 5th row, number 2. It has more "counter" space and storage, it looks like, anyway. You will need a good amount of both or you will out grow it. That one is also very pretty!!!! My vanity / dressing table is kinda rough looking so I decorate it with my fur collars, chanel vintage containers, crystal, etc.

  2. I love them ALL. I so desperately need a little vanity in my boudoir...except I have very little space. These shots gave me some EXCELLENT ideas on how to work around that issue. Many thanks!
