DIY Friday

Yay! It's Friday! Are you all looking forward to the three-day weekend? Any exciting 4th of July plans? We're hoping to catch the Community Days celebration in Webster Groves, which I grew up going to every year. It has a carnival with rides, games, good food (especially the funnel cakes!), music and fireworks. I'm gonna see if I can get the hubs to win me a stuffed animal...ha.

Should you find yourself with some spare time, however, might I suggest one of the following DIY projects?

These adorable No-Sew Twirlers via Bloesem Kids are a great craft for your little princess, for sure. But I'm already think of ways you could incorporate this easy-peasy project into decor!

On a similar note, I love the woven streamers on this party table via DIY Life. Brie did this for a Valentine's dinner, but with all the colors and holidays out there, you can easily customize for any of them!

I'm right there with Danielle over at Style Files when she says she's lovin' these storage jars with chalkboard lids via Wit & Whistle. Definitely something I'm going to keep in mind when it comes time to start canning our vegetables!

Okay...see that rug down there? Look familiar? Perhaps you've seen it in the table linens section at Target! Design Share had the brilliant idea to coat this tablecloth with polyurethane, tape a rug pad to the bottom, and make a gorgeous floor cloth for about $10! Totally borrowing this idea...{found via All Things Thrifty}

These wooden knobs have been transformed to wall hooks over at Bodie and Fou {via Poppytalk}, and I love it! A practical piece of wall art (and I wouldn't mind that rustic wood bench, either!)

And last, but certainly my favorite, is this potato print art via Jordan of Oh Happy Day (no surprise there!). I love its minimalist design and the bright colors. But I don't know if I have the patience for it! :)

Have a great weekend, all!
