Sustainable Style: Somebody Somewhere

Yesterday I was scrolling through my Twitter feed when I across across a tweet from the folks at Etsy. All I saw were the words free, download and Avett, and that's all it took for me to click on the link. Once I got to the destination, however, I did a double-take...because I was on the home page of an Etsy store...apparently owned by the band...called Somebody Somewhere. What? I immediately went to the store's mission statement, which said the band started it as a way "to raise money for people who need it." How? By selling photos from behind-the-scenes moments, and autographed posters from different concerts.

I thought this whole idea was pretty cool, and made me love these guys even more. So I wanted to make sure and share it with you all! Currently they're raising money for Often Awesome & their friend, Tim LaFollette, who is battling ALS. To learn more about how you can help, go to www.oftenawesome.org.

And if you haven't heard any of their music, it's the perfect chance to get a free taste of what one of their concerts is like. Just click here and it'll take you to a place where you can fill in your information, and they'll email you the download link.
