Sustainable Style: Ten Thousand Villages

With more than 390 retail outlets in the U.S., odds are you've come across items from Ten Thousand Villages at some point. Started in 1946, this amazing collection of handmade goods was one of the founding members of the World Fair Trade Organization and helps support a sustainable living for artisans in more than 38 countries all over the world. They also encourage their artisans "to use environmentally friendly processes, sustainable natural resources and recycled materials to ensure each product offered has been crafted responsibly" (yay!). I had a hard time keeping my list of favorites to a minimum, so get ready for a feast for the eyes!
