Style Spots: Fall Fling With Vintage Things

Good morning, all! I trust your weekend was good? The weather is getting more and more gorgeous each day, and I made sure to spent a lot of time outside these past few days. Friday night I stayed in and relished having the house to myself (I mean I missed the hubs, but a little quiet time is always nice, right?). Saturday there were tons of church rummage sales happening, so my mom and I went to three of them, plus two garage/estate sales. I was pretty excited about what I brought home, so without further delay...

Some vintage mid-calf boots from Brazil, size 8.

Two white pedestal dishes/planters that I'm using for jewelry storage.

An old (but brand new condition) Pastore Travel bag.

An awesome green swag lamp that's headed for a corner of the guest room.

This was hanging from it, so I took it as a sign I should take it home.

A vintage Samsonite travel bag. I've never seen this shape before.

Five quilted canning jars to use for glasses and/or vases.

A vintage silk blouse headed for the store.

A vintage purple cashmere sweater with pearl buttons headed for the store.

Not really vintage (it might be from the 90s maybe), but I got this because of the color and because I love sweaters.

A very '60s mustard yellow dress.

A vintage handmade blue wool dress, headed for the store.

A nice 90s sweater, headed for my closet. :)

Vintage plaid skirt #1.

Sort-of vintage plaid skirt #2.

An old (probably '60s) snap bow belt, headed for the store.

Some dress patterns.

An old crocheted blanket that's very "Missoni." :)

And a beautiful wool Southwestern rug.

If I can't find a home for it, it'll head to the store as well!

What goodies did you dig up this weekend?

  5. That Samsonite travel bag is absolutely gorgeous! And I really like the 60s mustard dress too (though the colour might be tricky to wear)
