Style Spots: I Just Can't Get Enough

Happy Monday all! How was your weekend? Mine was crazy busy. I was a vendor at SLU's Open Air Market on Saturday, which was part of the Midtown Alley Street Fest, and it was SO fun. SLU was an amazing host, providing us with tents and tables, and I got to meet some great people who came through the Parsimonia booth. Can't wait to (hopefully) participate next year!

Saturday night I passed out at 10 p.m., and wasn't really planning on having a Style Spots for you today, thinking I wouldn't have the energy to hit up some estate sales on Sunday. However, my friends needed a last-minute ride to the airport, so I figured since I was already up, why not see what was around? And I'm really glad I did. I went to four, but the gem of them all was this big beautiful old house in Webster Groves, where I grew up. It was filled to the brim with tons of vintage things, and I scored on a lot of clothing and a lot of fabric.

Want to see? :)

Picked this up at the second sale. Such a cute pin cushion!

I got two beautiful paper reproductions of the French imagerie d'Epinal Pellerin prints.

These two are animal farms.

Another old recipe box with recipes!

Now starts the fabric. The pink and yellow flowers fabric still had the purchase tag on it, which was March 20, 1978.

Blues...

More florals...

And I got a whole bolt of this beautiful green print!

A roll of amazing wallpaper.

I cannot tell you how in love with this bottle I am. Love, love, love the typography.

Onto the dresses! This was has pretty fall colors...

Cream, gray, brown and black.

Another fall, peasant-esque dress.

Love the flowers.

Apron!

A sweet mid-century, '60s dress.

With buttons.

And this one I'm keeping for myself. It still has the tags on it! A new vintage wrap skirt fro Pakistan.

Brand-new vintage leather purse that seems unused.

I love the chain strap on this one...

And the big plastic button closure.

At the first sale I scored these wooden clamps, to be hung on the wall with this big one in our entryway.

And at the last one I got a big wooden sifter. Not sure yet what I'm going to do with it, but I just loved the rustic look of it.

Your turn! Time to thrift and tell!

  2. Oh my gosh I don't even know what to comment on specifically because its all so great! That purple dress is making me very jealous, it looks so Tucker (you know the designer who did a Target collaboration last year?).
What are you going to use all that fabric for? The blues are amazing prints!

  3. Thank you Mummy! :)

And Alyssa...now that you mention it, I totally see the Tucker in that dress! Good memory! And I wish I could tell you that I have a specific plan for the fabric, but I don't. I just can't pass up amazing prints. :)
