News You Can Use!
Last week I mentioned I had a couple big projects going on, and the first, my trip to New York, is already out of the bag. So now it's time to let you in on the next big project: I'm opening an online store! I've been slaving away at my computer for some months now trying to bring it all together, and I'm so excited to be taking this next big step toward one day having a physical storefront here in St. Louis.
For those of you who are familiar with my Etsy store, you can expect to see the same kind of inventory: vintage clothing, vintage accessories and vintage housewares. For those of you not familiar with it, let me fill you in!
The philosophy of Parsimonia is simple: Style doesn't have to break the bank, which is why I go out each week to thrift stores and estate sales in search of vintage items for the modern world. I don't put anything in my store that I wouldn't be happy to have on me or in my home, and my goal is to inspire shoppers to get creative with their style without sacrificing quality or last week's paycheck. You won't find any $200 dresses here (but you might find a dress that's worth $200!).
Stay tuned over the next several weeks as I give you some sneak peeks of the site, some shots of the merchandise, and announce a special grand-opening giveaway!
