Vintage Love :: Erin Ink Designs

So my brain is pretty much in a constant state of thinking these days. Thinking about new ideas for the blog, thinking about which series I'm a little bored with, and trying to hone in on the stuff I love to write about — and that, hopefully, you love to read about. I've never been one for blogs with content that seems contrived, or filled with stuff they think you want to read about. It always comes off like they're trying to sell you something (which, in some cases, I think they are), and I hope this little blog doesn't ever seem that way.

I try and fill its pages with things I myself am passionate about, and lately I've been feeling like there's not enough "vintage" on here. So I think what I'm gonna do is suspend the Sustainable Style series and replace it with one I'm going to simply call Vintage Love. I'm always pinning and bookmarking vintage and vintage-style things that make my heart go pitter-patter, and I thought it'd be fun to share them each week with the hope they'll make yours go a-flutter, too. :)

Last night, while looking for prints for the kitchen, I came across a store called Erin Ink Designs. And Erin, the shop owner, draws these wonderfully kitschy and super cute illustrations of vintage Pyrex pieces (and some with Ball jars...swoon) that you can order as 5x7 prints (she even has the Friendship pattern, which we all know is permanently attached to me now).

She also has calendars, note cards, recipe cards, magnets and even a section of actual Pyrex dishes she's selling (really good idea, Erin...you smart girl). Methinks I've found what I want to grace the skinny wall above the sink. They'd look so cute matted in a white frame!

I'm also loving this personalized Pyrex art print...

Do tell...which ones are your favorites?

  2. How fun are these?! I like that you asked which "ones" are our favorites, knowing full well we can't choose just one! Because we collect them, I have to go with the Ball jars and I'm also particularly fond of the Pyrex refrigerator containers. I have a couple of my grandmother's I still use and I love them.
