Parsimonia Vintage Store Updates

Well I'd say two months is long enough to be holding out on you all, don't you? :-) Although I can assure you my absence on this blog hasn't been me just sitting back and twiddling my thumbs. We've been doing some serious demo and decorating at the brick and mortar, getting it all vintage-d up and ready for shopping, and I thought it was about time I shared some of the photos of the process with you all!

From staffing agency office to taking down drop ceilings, knocking down two walls, patching the original tile ceiling and painting and wallpapering, it looks like we're only a couple weeks out from opening, and I'm SO excited! We still have to build the fitting rooms, add some more display pieces and install a window project featuring old family photos that I think is going to be my favorite detail in the store. And at the end of the this road is a dream come true! I hope to see your smiling faces in the store soon! :-)

  3. So many congratulations on realizing your dream. Love, love, love your colors! I once lived in a tiny apartment of a beautiful Victorian house and painted my kitchen those same colors. Best wishes for a fab opening!
