Just wanted to pop in and wish you all a day of love and gratefulness! I'm sitting here at the store on Thanksgiving Eve, the doors are locked until Friday, and I'm just so, so grateful. Grateful for all the events that have happened over the past two-and-a-half years that have led me to where I am now. Grateful for the constant flow of support from family, friends and a neighborhood that has welcomed the brick-and-mortar store with open arms. Grateful for the repeat customers whose faces and lives become more familiar to me with each visit. Grateful that I am getting a chance to try out my dreams and see how they stick. And grateful that tomorrow and — thanks to my dear friend Chelsie — Friday I get to rest and commune with my family.
I hope that tomorrow (or today, if that's when you're reading this), amid all the food and fervor, we all take a moment to be grateful for the people and circumstances in our lives right now — and remember to love one another. There is a lot of good in the world and in people if we just take the time to notice it. We just need to open our eyes and our hearts.
